Rob was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and attended Coronado High School.
At the age of 18, Rob enlisted in the United States Army where he served as a US Army Cavalry Scout – Reconnaissance Specialist. Rob earned multiple citations and awards while serving his country, and after his enlistment obligation was fulfilled, he was honorably discharged and he returned home to continue his education.
Rob’s path to earning a college degree began at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas, where he was a member of the first graduating class in Texas to earn an Associate’s Degree in Arts and Teaching. Rob is a two-time Red Raider alumnus, graduating from both Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech University School of Law. As a student at Texas Tech University, he graduated with “high honors” and received a Bachelor of Science in Multi-Disciplinary Studies. While attending Texas Tech Rob was a member of five scholastic honor societies, and the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-law Fraternity. Shortly after earning his bachelor’s degree, Rob received acceptance to the Texas Tech School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. As a student at the Texas Tech School of Law, faculty members awarded Rob both the “Cali Award” and the “Jurisprudence Award” for academic excellence.
Rob has committed himself to providing professional legal services to the wonderful people of Texas. He holds a license to practice in all Texas state courts and the federal district court for the Northern District of Texas. He is a member of multiple legal organizations such as the Texas Bar College, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, just to name a few. Rob believes that surrounding himself with like-minded legal professionals, and continuously learning and developing as a lawyer is the only way he will be able to continue to vigorously and effectively serve his clients.
When he’s not hard at work, Rob treasures spending time with his wife Jessica and their two sons, Jake and Logan. He is also a member of the alumni advisory board for the Texas Tech Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, serving as a mentor to the current members of his fraternity. Rob has been practicing martial arts since the age of six, and as the son of a grand master, he spends any time not devoted to his family, his practice of law, or his fraternity training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
