Rob was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, and at the age of 18, after attending Coronado High School, Rob enlisted in the United States Army where he served as a US Army Cavalry Scout – Reconnaissance Specialist. Rob earned multiple citations and awards while serving his country, and after his enlistment obligation was fulfilled, he was honorably discharged and he returned home to continue his education.
Rob’s path to earning a college degree began at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas, where he was a member of the first graduating class in Texas to earn an Associate’s Degree in Arts and Teaching. Rob is a two-time Red Raider alumnus, graduating from both Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech University School of Law. As a student at Texas Tech University, he graduated with “high honors” and received a Bachelor of Science in Multi-Disciplinary Studies. While attending Texas Tech Rob was a member of five scholastic honor societies, and the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-law Fraternity. Shortly after earning his bachelor’s degree Rob was accepted to the Texas Tech School of Law, where earned his Juris Doctorate. As a student at the Texas Tech School of Law Rob was presented with both the “Cali Award” and the “Jurisprudence Award” for academic excellence.
Rob has committed himself to providing professional legal services to the wonderful people of Texas. Rob is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts and the federal district court for the Northern District of Texas. He is a member of multiple legal organizations such as the Texas Bar College, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, just to name a few. Rob believes that surrounding himself with like-minded legal professionals, and continuously learning and developing as a lawyer is the only way he will be able to continue to vigorously and effectively serve his clients.
When he’s not hard at work, Rob treasures spending time with his wife Jessica and their two sons, Jake and Logan. Rob is also a member of the alumni advisory board for the Texas Tech Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, serving as a mentor to the current members of his fraternity. Rob has been a martial artist since the age of six, and is the son of a grand master, so time not devoted to his family, the practice of law, or his fraternity is spent training in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
